Before you go crazy trying to figure it out, check your spare tire and jack and make sure their secured. Also, take a look around the trunk area for anything else that might be flopping around back there. If that's all good, you'll want to lie on your back with a flashlight and take a look at the rear suspension. Grab the shocks and try to give them a good shake. Make sure that the spots where they're mounted aren't rusted out. Check the brackets at both ends of the leafsprings and make sure that they're secure as well. Also, Grab the rear swaybar and try to give that a good shake. Worn swaybar bushings are a common problem on any older vehicle. Good Luck!
Put a GOOD battery in. The batteries that come with the detector aren't very good. Should last at least a year.
