Fred Meyers offers a .10 discount per gallon of gas but I‘ve never seen them advertise any type of fuel additives like Chevron‘s Techroline. Additives such as Techroline helps prevent fuel deposits and carbon build up inside the engine, valves, and fuel injectors. I have often wondered if FM sells their gas cheaper because it does not contain any beneficial additives. Can anybody clarify this? Thanks.
It doesn't have techroline but most gas stations don't have theses additives either. I think most if not all gas stations now have 10% ethanol additives (not benficial but it is an additive).
