The world depends on it.If we do not mend the problems that exist in these fields than the world will only worsen. Poor family values are why we have the disruption that we do. Parents aren't teaching good habits to their children, so the children are running a'muck. All the hate and ugliness that is being caused by this will soon destroy the world. As we are breaking it down very quickly.

If people would actually sit down and TEACH them to their kids (instead of depending on entertainment such as TV and Video games to do so for them) things would probably not be quite so chaotic at times. Social values, help interact with people you might not speak to very often. Social values include not talking in a movie theater and actually turning your phone off. Appologizing when you run into someone instead of yelling at them as if they ran into you. Holding the door open for someone who's hands are full, or just holding it open for the people behind you, reguardless of age or gender. Family values, eh. Family is importiantso long as you don't have nut cases who claim the world belongs and should bow down to them. Family is the root of social life. Being able to talk to family about problems, and helping family out with problems. However just saying its necessary or worth while won't make people change nor care. It has to be tought to the young and hope it sticks in their mind and doesn't fade as they actually see the world around them.
