If they're both doing 85 there can't be a bump. In a bump the impact speed would be the speed of the bumping vehicle minus the speed of the vehicle being bumped.
Heck yeah wear some gloves. There is not a single thing inside the 360 (old style or slim) that contains any liquid. Take it back to the store and make them exchange it. That xbox has been tampered with. Other than the fact that I repair 360s I have both the old 360s and a couple of slims in my office opened up.
