Now, when i was messing around with my car, i pushed down the lock part that is on the door. ( the part that closes down around the bar when the door is closed ) The door was wide open, and i moved it from &open& position to &Lock& position. Now, i cannot lift it back it open position, therefor, i cannot close my doors since it is stuck down. I tried the electric door unlock button, and no luck, and the same goes for flipping the unlock switch over. Does anyone know how to get this lever back into the open position???:?? I dont know if it makes a difference, but i have a 1999 olds aurora.

Depends upon where you live. Here is California code: For new construction only, the smoke detector must be hardwired with a battery backup. For all other homes, the smoke detector may be battery operated. (Cal. Health Safety Code § 13113.7.) Here is Minnesota: In new construction, the required smoke alarms shall receive their primary power from the building wiring when such wiring is served from a commercial source. When primary power is interrupted, smoke alarms shall receive power from a battery. Wiring shall be permanent and without a disconnecting switch other than those required for over current protection. Smoke alarms shall be permitted to be battery operated when installed in buildings without commercial power or in buildings that undergo alterations, repairs or additions regulated by R313.3. Man, my fingers are getting tired! Can't you just tell us what state you live in?
Websense is obviously doing what it was installed for - of course its going to block sites about proxy avoidance. Some employers use websense to reduce productivity loss (infact its a category). If you think that the websites are legitimate to what you do, talk to management.
