Easton Stealth S17 Question?

I‘m looking into buying 2 Easton Stealth S17‘s and I was wondering how good they are compared to other sticks I have liked.I loved my Vapor XXXX (loved the snapshots and slapshots), Dolomite ‘07 Edition (loved the slap and wristers I had with it), and my 4 or so Synergy Elites (loved it all around) I went through. How well would I work with the S17‘s?

Answer:

All of the sticks you have used have very low kickpoints. They are designed to have a quick release, and good accuracy. The s17, however, has a bit more of a power taper, designed for velocity rather than quick release. I don't doubt that you will like the stick (it is very good), but when shooting, you will definitely feel the difference in your shots.
I love this stick, i have had a vapor 30/vapor 25 both of which broke at the heel for me after a few months each. i then went out on a limb and bought the s17 for myself. It is beyond anything i have ever felt. Its the lightest thing iv ever felt, its shot is quick hard and accurate. my slapshot has flourished. I bought mine right after christmas and it just recently cracked at the heel, not unusable but its not that long for this world. we put fiber glass tape on it and epoxyed it and hopefully it will last a while. How did you get the job as a equipment tester?
Slugs like beer! Put a small, low dish out in your garden, and fill with a small amount of beer. The slugs will be attracted to the beer and drown in it. I learned this in one of my horticulture classes in college. It is a non-toxic way to get rid of them and seems to be effective.
Here's an easy solution, go to the Hardware store, but a product called Slug Bait, I paid about $11, put it around the yard or garden and no more slugs. One treatment is all you need.
That my favorite stick, but they break all the time. I bought 2 at the beginning of this season and broke them within 3 months. If your a defenseman like me, doing slapshots and pokechecks make it break so much faster than if you were a forward. The blade always shatters by the heel for me. But the good thing is the actual shaft is pretty sturdy so I just cut off the broken blade and buy a new blade you can get more use.
