Can you guys please help me with these? I‘m SO stuck! This is like another language to me. Do you think you can explain the steps in detail so that I know what I am doing for future problems? Thank you :)1. What is the final temperature when a 3 kg gold bar at 99 degrees Celsius is dropped into a 0.22 kg of water at 25 degrees Celsius?2. Brass is an alloy made from copper and zinc. A 0.59 kg brass sample at 98 degrees Celsius is dropped into a 2.80 kg of water at 5 degrees Celsius. If the equilibrium temperature is 6.8 degrees Celsius, what is the specific heat capacity of the brass?3. A hot, just-minted copper coin is placed in 101 g of water to cool. The water temperature changes by 8.39 degrees Celsius, and the temperature of the coin changes by 68 degrees Celsius. What is the mass of the coin?Thank you everyone, I really appreciate it! :)
This Site Might Help You. RE: How often must you replace motorcycle tires? I'm looking at getting a 2001 ZX-6R or similar (R1, R6 etc). I'd drive mainly locally some highway, but never racing or spinning the tires etc. How often must the tires be replaced? How much does it usually cost? Also, how often must oil be changed and whats the price on that?.
Unlike car tires, Motorcycle tires have a greatly varied tread life, depending both on the tire itself, and the rider's habits. A sport tire, made of softer rubber, will not last as long as a touring tire, which is harder. However, the touring tire will not provide the same amount of traction. Also, the same tire will preform differenlty on different motorcycles, even with the same rider. My suggestion would be to find internet forums that talk about your bike, and ask what tires they are using. Better would be to and see the tires on the bike, if there are events in your area where riders meet (ask at a local dealer about bike nights), and talk to the riders to get a better idea of what sort of riding they do. Costs will depend on the tires you go with, and you local dealer. Rear tires generally get replaced twice as often as fronts, and tires start as low as 50 bucks and go as high as 300 (That is each). My local shop charges $15 is I bring in the rim, and $60 if I bring in the bike, that is on the low end of the price scale. As far as oil changes, I change my oil every 3,000 miles, and the oil filter every other time I change the oil. Some people go 4,500 miles, and change the filter once a year, and that seems to be fine. I change my own oil, but my shop will do it for $45. Again, there is a lot of difference from one shop to another. Hope that helps, and good luck.
Because of the safety involved with tires check with your local motorcycle dealership. Tires are not cheap but are a worth while expense. General rule of thumb; Check for any age wearcracking of the rubber on the sidewall of the tires and tread depth. There are usually wear bars within the tire tread that are an indicator for you to replace. There are also tread depth gages to measure wear.Maintain proper air pressure! Oil changes follow the manufacturers specifications. If you run the bike all the time it's generally no different than changing oil in a car. There are many selections of oils today. Be sure to choose the best. You know the saying pay now or pay later.
i latterly (2 weeks in the past) offered a 6 week previous miniature dachshund. I artwork finished-time and so does my boyfriend. the in hassle-free words reason we nevertheless offered a puppy replaced into because we've different schedules. the in hassle-free words time the puppy is on my own for more suitable than 4 hours is Monday, and that i come living house to have lunch inclusive of her on lately. they favor a tremendous type of interest and also you do not favor to take the possibility of them being on my own too lengthy and turning out to be negative. fairly with small dogs they ought to no longer be left on my own because that's going to change into no longer possible to living house-prepare them. My miniature puppy is going to the lavatory about each 3 hours. very last suggestion: every time you imagine about getting the puppy keep in mind strolling the dogs contained in the rain/snow/sleet at 6 a.m. after 3 hours of sleep because it gained't provide up crying, shampooing the carpet each 2 weeks because they were no longer correct living house-experienced, and not being waiting to %. up and flow away for the weekend because the hotel doesn't settle for pets. in case you fairly desire a puppy and would't stand no longer to get one, a cat will be acceptable. they could stay at living house for lengthy sessions of time and it truly is a lot, a lot extra ordinary to living house prepare them (you do not even ought to take them outdoors!) they're a lot less probable to advance separation stress and would change into purely as affectionate as dogs depending on how they are raised.
1.) The heat transfers from the gold to the water so the final temperature of the water will be equal to the final Temperature of the gold. (T2_goldT2_water) You need to solve for T2. (mc(T1-T2))_gold (mc(T2 - T1))_H2O Solving for T2 T2_gold T2_H2O T2 ((mcT1)_gold + (mcT1)_H2O)/((mc)_gold+(mc)_H2O) I get a T2 of about 41 C (when c_gold 0.127 J/gC and c_H2O4.179 J/gC) Watch your units (kg vs g) 2) This time solve for c_brass where T2 for both the water and the brass is 6.8 C. (mc(T1-T2))_brass (mc(T2 - T1))_H2O c_brass (mc(T2 - T1))_H2O/(m(T1-T2))_brass I get c_brass 0.391 J/gC 3) This is the same as the other 2, just solving for m_copper (mc(T1-T2))_copper (mc(T2 - T1))_H2O m_copper (mc(T2 - T1))_H2O/(c(T1-T2))_copper m_copper 101(4.179)(8.39)/((.385)68) where c_copper 0.385 J/gC I get m_copper 135.3 g
