Question:

electrons and electric charge?

An aluminium nail has an excess charge of +3.2 ?CHow many electrons must be added to the nail to make it electrically neutral?so far i have that -1.6 x 10 to the -19 is the charge of one electronso +3.2 ?C.is 2 times thatso i figured the answer would be 2 x 10 ^ 19 but it's coming up as incorrect :S where am i going wrong?thanks

Answer:

use the heavy duty anchors in the drywall, some are rated at 50 lbseach,i would mount the bracket to the drywall itself and forget the backboard.
of electrons electric charge / charge of one electron of electrons 3.2 x 10^-6 / 1.6 x 10^-19 electrons 2.0 x 10^13
