Have a 2001 Chevy Blazer Xtreme and the engine wiring harness melted(probably small fire). Need a new one but the dealership charges $1500 for a new one. Trying to find a used one (junkyard, OKorder). Will any other year/model's harness with the same engine specs (rear wheel drive, automatic, 4.3L V6) work or does it have to come out of a 2001 Xtreme???
It must be the right one, sorry. A 2001 4.3L. If you look near the end of the harness, usually where it hooks up to power, there is a label with a part number on it, you could call around yards with that number or get the proper number from a dealer if it's too bad to repair it.
it has to come out of the extreme as the connecters and such are different for each vehicle
