E is the addition of the additive to the food that is persistent health worries for many years. Many of these additives should be associated with chaos including allergies, nervous diseases, intestinal disorders, cancer, heart disease and arthritis. In recent years many of these additives may have been genetically modified by the further concern presented by the (GM) origin. Some of the E-numbered additives may also be considered inappropriate for halal, vegetarians or vegetarian diets.
E Numbers are simple formats defined as food additives and are usually found in food labels. The 'E' prefix indicates that the additive is approved for use by the EC.
