I currently rent an apartment in California and the smoke detectors, while working, are expired as of 9 years ago. Is this illegal?
Soft suspension springs or ruined shock absorbers most likely.. they won't be supporting the weight of the car, hence the scraping. Then again, its also highly possible that its the exhaust thats come loose. If you're not mechanically inclined enough to know what to look for, take it to a reputable garage..I'm sure they'll diagnose it for free.
