Find the additive inverse of 4i.?

I have Algebra 2 I couldn't find the answer to the question but I was just wondering could you help me? In Algebra 2 we are talking about complex numbers this was one of those problems from the homewrk that she gave us.I will be grateful if you help me.(please)Genevieve

It's -4i. The additive inverse is the thing you add to (in this case) 4i to get the additive identity. The additive identity is 0, because you can add it all day long and not change anything. So, what do you add to 4i to get 0? Obviously, -4i.
