Question:

Find the additive inverse of 5 on the 12-hour clock.?

Find the additive inverse of 5 on the 12-hour clock.

Answer:

isn't it 2? its on the opposite side of the clock?
First note 0 ≡ 12. 5 + x 0 for x to be the additive inverse. So 5 + ? 12. Answer 7. So 5 + 7 ≡ 0 mod 12 and 7 is the additive inverse. Look at it this way. Start in the clock and move forward until you get to 12. How many steps did it take. Same as gong back 5 steps (–5). That;s another way to look at it The additive inverse of 5 is –5. But to get it on the clock, add 12 and get +7.
Neither one. They are over hyped by advertisers junk that will do not good for your car. The stock system is best. Only a very few VERY few cars gain any kind of performance by these stupid things. The KN air filter is a total NO NO to put in your car it will oil coat up your AFM and cause all kinds of problems way more than poor MPG. No matter how little oil you put in the filter it always finds it way to the AFM. KN filters are only good with carbureted cars and older fuel injected cars with mechanical AFM's. And naturally older FI cars that have no AFM to speak of.
spend the extra 100 or so and get a kn .well built and makes more power .sounds clean
