Question:

For science, im am making a solar cooker out of a shoeboxHow can i modify it so it can cook a pizza bagel?

We are gonna put them outside in the sun so I put black construction paper on the outsideWhat else should i add to the shoebox to make it able to cook things?

Answer:

By prayer, each and everyone of us has at least one or more Angels that God assigned us, it is though prayer that we ask God in Jesus name, for protection, guidance, wisdom, health, happiness, patience, etcand that's the Angles role, to help you, you just have to ask what you need in prayer.
Just talk to them, and they hearAsk them to find ways to let you know they're around, and then be open to the anwersDespite what some have posted, communicating with angels does not mean you worship themThey are created by God, and I am grateful to God for their presence in my life.
Let's assume for a moment you were born with a tiny spark deep within the heart of youAnd that when our bodies die that it goes with you and becomes 'part of the source, or whatever Perhaps the Guardian Angel tending us is a Spark Whisperer helping us, and you might meditate a bit on your spark to hear the soft sounds.
How does the sunlight get in? Is the lid clear? It seems like you're saying in your Additional Details section that you put aluminum on the inside of the lid, so it must not be letting the sun inYou need a clear plastic or glass area somewhere to let the sunshine inImagine the bagel's perspective: the bagel should only be able to see aluminum or glass/plastic, and the sunThat way, any radiation the bagel emits will be reflected back onto it (glass/plastic reflects the infrared emitted by the bagel); as it gets hotter, it will emit more, but that emission will be reflected back onto it so it can't coolBut the glass/plastic lets visible light from the sun into your cookerYou can experiment with the portion of the envelope that is clear (glass/plastic) and the portion that is reflective (aluminum)If you feel the outside of the shoebox getting warm, then cover the outside also with aluminum foilThat will slow it's radiative coolingKeep the foil very cleanThe best way to attach the aluminum foil is to glue it on, keeping the bagel-side face of the foil very cleanHow is the bagel held in the cooker? It shouldn't be touching the aluminumIt should be suspended, maybe make a rack out of chopsticks, like a rack in an oven; you would poke the chopsticks/skewers through the middle of the box to make a platform that holds the bagel but allows most of the light to hit the bagel (a pan would block too much light)Maybe you have a small toaster-oven with a rack you can borrow? Thanks for posting your question, it's really got me thinking about trying some new designs.
