Question:

Gas clothes dryer ran for two hours with no heat?

My wife started our clothes dryer and noticed more than two hours later that it was still running! She opened the door and found the clothes were cool, no heat. What would cause our dryer to run for hours, when the timer was only set for 70mins, and there to be no heat being generated? Also, it is a Kenmore gas powered tumble dryer. If there was no heat, does that mean that gas was just pumping into the dryer without being ignited?? Or is there a safety mechanism built in to keep unburned gas from getting into the airwe didn't smell anything but just want to make sure. Thanks.

Answer:

We call them speed bumps in Australia. One day we had a courtesy car while our car was being fixed and we drove so fast over the speed bumps that they smashed against the axles and the bottom of the car. It was so much fun. Teach them to lend us a sub-par courtesy car.
Well, 13 is a tough age. I'd make sure that nothing is going on at school with friends, classes, teachers, etc. If nothing is going on there, welcome to puberty with a teenage boy! And of course little brother wants to act like big brother. (He's cool in his eyes!!) But me personally, I'd spank. Hell, when we were kids we got spanked until we were like 16 or 17. (Figure we woulda learned by then huh? lol.) That's the stubbornness in me and my sister I guess! But, lemme tell you. We didn't do anything again after those spankings though! Hope this Helps!
