Question:

Getting loose bracket fixed on braces?

I'm getting a few brackets fixed on my braces. 7 of them. I have 3 brackets loose in the bottom in the back on the right side, 3 in the middle on the bottom, and one on the left next to my front tooth. How long will it take? What will they do to put it back on? How much will it cost?PLEASE ANSWER!

Answer:

They will probably do the same thing they did when they put them on the first time. If you have a wire in, that will come out. They'll clean and prepare your teeth and put the brackets back on. Then you'll probably get a new wire. Depending on what else they need to do, replacing 7 brackets would take 30-60 minutes. Whether or not they charge you, and how much, would be determined by your orthodontist.
They are going to usually do the equal thing they did once they put them on the primary time. You probably have a wire in, in order to come out. They will clean and put together your teeth and put the brackets back on. Then you'll frequently get a new wire. Depending on what else they ought to do, changing 7 brackets would take 30-60 minutes. Whether or not or no longer they charge you, and how much, could be determined with the aid of your orthodontist.
When you are getting a bracket fixed it usually depends on how fast your orthodontist works. In your case with 7 I would say it would take 30-50 minutes. The first thing they usually do is remove your wire and your broken brackets. Then, they will take this device that takes the cement from the braces of your tooth. This device makes a really weird noise but it doesn't hurt. The procedure after that is just what happened when you got your braces put on. The cost of the replacement depends on your orthodontist. Good luck.
