Question:

God creates light before he creates source of light?

How did God create light a.k.a day before he created the source of our light?I am sure this question has been asked before but for giggles lets try again.

Answer:

There are any number of correct interpretations of the Creation Story. You assume that it has to be physical. Light could be any illumation that would allow creation to come into being, eg reason. Also, postivists call this universe infinite. Is it hard to believe that there is light coming from other stars? He obviously said the sun. That would refer to our sun. It doesn't deny the possibility of other stars.
GOD is the source of all light. God IS light.
This mild would be completely unrelated to the solar. The universe lined countless assets of sunshine, and God Himself is a source of sunshine. See Revelation 21:23; 22:5. some Bible expositors have faith the solar existed from the 1st day, yet its mild regarded on the fourth day because of the fact the mist of advent dissipated.
What are stars made out of? What good would it have done, then, to create light emitting bodies, if there were no light for them to emit? Would Edison have invented the light bulb before Franklin discovered electricity? Could he have done so? OH, yeah... And...what came first, the chicken or the egg? Hey, you know what? It works, I'm giggling... Christians can giggle, you know. I do it quite often...
Lets try it without giggles, ok? The Bible teaches that God is light. He is the light of the World. He did not need the sun. They were placed there for our purpose.... Gen 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: The word light here literally means source of light i.e. the heavenly bodies. Gen 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. This word light is a totally different word in the Hebrew, and means, luminous which is, the light rays themselves. So, God said let the light rays appear and they did. Then later, when God wanted time to start for us, He put the planets in space. But, when God restores everything to what He intended, He will be the light again. We won't need the heavenly bodies anymore... Rev 21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
