Anyone have you seen that show Great Food Live from the UK? I am looking for that spongey gingerbread pudding covered in chocolate recipeany super internet sleuths up for the challenge??? I can't find it anywhere!
5cups bread cubes 2 cups butter milk 1cup milk 4 eggs lightly beaten 1/4 cup molasses 1/4tsp ground ginger 1/4 tsp nutmeg 3/4tsp cinnamon 1/8tsp clove 1/4 tsp salt soak bread with buttermilk for 20 minutes , add remaining ingredients, fold togetherpour into a greased loaf pan , place into a water bath , cover with aluminum foilplace into 350 degree preheated oven for 45 minutesonce the loaf is golden brown place loaf on a wire rack to cool chocolate sauce 2 cups semi- sweet chocolate chips 1cup heavy cream 2 ounces unsalted butter in a stainless steal bowl over boiling water whisk chocolate and cream , once smooth add butter ,whisk until blended togetherpour over pudding serve while warmenjoy.
I have a terrific flan recipe: 1 can sweetened condensed milk 1 can evaporate milk 1 can media crema (optional) 6 eggs 1 tsp vanilla 1/2 cup sugar Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit Melt the sugar in a pan and then pour into your cake pan set asidePut all of the other ingredients in a blender blend just long enough to mix thoroughlyPour into the cake pan through a strainerCover with aluminum foilPlace the cake pan in a larger panBring a pot of water to boil (about 1 quart)Put the pans in the ovenPour the water into the larger pan to create a bain marieBake for 50 minutesRemove foilBake another 10 minutesRemove from oven, place both pans on a wire rack to coolAllow smaller pan to cool in the large panWhen it reaches room temperature, remove the cake pan from the larger pan, dry it, cover it with foil and refrigerate overnightThe following day, remove from refrigerater, remove foilRun a small, thin-bladed knife between the flan and the side of the pan to loosenInvert a plate over the top of the pan and then invert the two piecesIf the flan doesn't relieve immediately, you can place a warm towel over it and it should releaseSlowly remove the pan from the flan and allow any excess caramel to drip onto the flan.
