Question:

hard disk power cable problem?

My hard disk power cable was burned and when i connected my HD to another system, it is working....so what could be the problem in my pc???

Answer:

Replace SATA power cable or using SATA Power from Power Supply. This issues will normally happen with separate piece of SATA Power Cable. Because of 4-pins power losing and touch another power pin. Lucky you. It didn't cook your hdd
The ability cable pin is truthfully a cable that connects the flexibility grant to the hot HDD, then you quite decide for a RIBBON cable to connect the motherboard-HDD-CD ROM and new HDD. whilst they are all related and you boot up the laptop will observe new hardware.
Ask the question properly so that we can help you.It is the problem with your cable change it.
May have fried part of powersupply if wires shorted where burnt. Check inside powersupply for blown fuse. If blown, replace. If not, check into new powersupply.
