just wondering if anyone has ever made a home out of a grain silo. i saw some art silos and they looked cool, and easy to build!

I know a guy who made a house out of an old water tower in N. California.
I have a friend who looked into this many moons ago.and while we all thought it would be cool.you run into some zoning issues.You have to have multiple exits for each floor.The scariest thing I could think of was the fact that in the event of fire,the whole thing would turn into one big chimney.
i have not ,but wanted to.and of course the top would be an observatory.
