Which one did you use.and did you barely pass, or did it greatly reduce the smog
It worked for me. I used Redline Fuel System Cleaner. My injectors were getting a little plugged and that cleaned them right up and cleaned my fuel system and I passed smog, I jus had to clear my replace cat check engine light. My cat is fine.
It sounds like you'll have a blast on a Ninja 250. No, it won't tear your nads off when you twist the throttle, but what the squids don't know is that the TRUE fun in riding is in the LEANING! Get good gear, practice your riding, and lean the piss out of it in the corners.

First off. fuel additives are generally a waste of money. The concentration of additive to fuel in the tank will do little to nothing for engine operation. The best way to pass a vehicle that is border line failing is to put Premium Fuel in a few days before you E-test. The day of your E-test, take your vehicle out for a good run on the highway. This will heat up the Catalytic converter which would greatly reduce your emissions. Additionally, a oil change prior to the test will also reduce the emissions. Almost all vehicle's, other then extremely poorly running engines will pass if you follow these few steps.
