I recently buy a 1992 Honda Civic from one German Lady. The car is in excellent condition. Yesterday added some additive in fuel tank as it says on the bottle (cleans fuel system). Today at morning could not start the car. Are these additive have any effect on car or that is just waste of money?

No it makes no differents its just a fluke the car may need a minor tune up, .the fuel additive would mix straight away with the gas, it will start soon ok , but dont bother about additives.
