If the condition is proven to be bad you will be entitled to pay for it. You have no pictures to prove and the current situation whatever the place is in, if provided with pictures you can be charged with the cleaning fees. It would have been better if you have any kind of NOC to prove that you left the place in humanly order. Failure to provide an NOC or any pictures to prove it you can be charged and the landlord would even be favored in court.

If you really did leave the place clean and the people who helped clean the place can verify it then I wouldn't pay. If she takes you to small claims court then take those people as witnesses and see what you can do about the Realtor. Call that person up and find out why they said the things they did. I would fight it if they were accusing me of leaving a mess or damage. Hope it all works out in your favor.
They have to depreciate that carpet. They got 6 plus years out of it. Why should they be entitled to full replacement value. Sounds like you might be being charged for their remodel. Ask for receipts.
