Resin is used to fill fiberglass repairs, not glue. Epoxy is glue like, but does not adhere (stick) to all materials. Most take a long time to cure. I would say try crazy glue since it bonds almost instantly. But the best answer is going to a music store. There have the experience on what would work best.
