Broken brackets are normal in any orthodontic case. You shouldn't worry about telling your mom, because it is important that you get into your Orthodontists office to get that bracket put back on. Just leaving a bracket off and not taken care of can slow down your treatment as that tooth may move out of place. Wire pokes can also cause pain and is another good reason to call your doctor and be seen quickly. If they can't get you in right away make sure to use the wax on that wire so you don't get big sores in your mouth. I hope you can get it fixed quickly! Corinne Orthotime
you have to go to your ortho ASAP because any broken things can slow down your treatment. I learned it the hard way. my ortho didnt not charge me extra and I dont think yours will either.
