I live in an apartment that I rent and a while ago it started chirping.I forgot all about it and now I tried testing it, but it won't work so my battery must be dead.I can't remember if its my responsibility to buy one or not. I do change light bulbs.It's been months since the beeping stopped!! Will I get into trouble for this? My apartment manager has been in to check for maintenance.Will I get into trouble??

The search is for safety reasons, so your clothes will be removed by force. I doubt they could force you to allow your photo to be taken, but if you do not cooperate, you don't finish booking, so you do not get released and you don't get a phone call. You will sit in a holding cell until you cooperate.
