My grandpa gave my mom a half of piece of watermelon and my mom brought it home and accidentally fell asleep on the couchWhat do i I do with the half a watermelon? Can I just cover the top with aluminum foil? Wrap it in a bag? Its too big to fit in a bowl and too late too cut it I can barely stay awake on my own nowPlease help! Thank-you!
You don't need foil to make a baked a baked potatoJust poke a few holes in it and rub the outside with cooking oil or olive oilsome even sprinkle sea salt or kosher salt on the ouside before putting it int the ovenBake as usual.
I don't know of any way to quickly back a sweet potatoThe best way I know is to put them in a preheated oven 250 and just let them cook till tenderThe larger and thicker they are the longer it will take, but without a microwave that is really your only option.
The only time you need foil is if you microwave bake the potatoes (not recommended, but sometimes time is a factor.) You poke them, micro for about 8 minutes and THEN wrap them in foil and let them sitYou could wrap an oven baked potato if you didn't think it was doneNo reason to cook them in foil.
OK, 35 years of being a cook in restaurantsWe washed the potatoes, and put them on a baking sheet and put them in the oven for 1 hour at approx 400 degrees, if they are big baked potatoesSqueeze the sides After 45 min to see if they giveThat way they are done Take them out with a pot holder, gently hit the potato on a board or counterThen cut them open on the top, but not all the way from side to sideThen push each end towards each other, and this puffs up the insides, and makes them look fluffy.ooooo yeah ! Put some sour cream and butter on that puppy, and you got a meal for a king.
you can just cover the top with aluminum foil and put it in the fridge
