Question:

Help with a resin/bezel project?

I'm going to try to make a pendant with some ice resin I found lying around the house. I've never used this stuff before, but I found a teeny tiny dead lizard on the sidewalk and the thing fits perfectly in this bezel I found. First question, I've seen people put bugs in bezels, but would anything go wrong with something like a lizard? Second, the lizard's head barely peeks out over the top of the bezel. Is this a problem when I fill it with resin? The ice resin package says it's self-doming, so would that probably work out? Thanks.

Answer:

GM put it on there for added weight lol comeon, you know the answer to this yourself.
ummmm here's an old plumber's trick (not the plumber the trick) stuff a slice of compressed bread in the pipe to stop the drip while you solder the new piece of pipe in. the bread will dissolve when you turn the water back on. brown or whiteit doesn't matter
uh.yeah it is. it is a rear suspension component. unless you go with ladder bars or a 4 link you need to keep it. either fab up a torque are mount or start shopping for what type of rear suspension you want in all reality, the rock crusher would be overkill. the weak link at that point would be the 7.5 rear. to me thats like putting a 454 in an otherwise stock chevette. one stout part that didnt really match all the others. but hey, do what ya like. most wouldnt drop a 400 and 12 bolt in a turd elcamino like me.
