HHO Gas (Browne's Gas) (HHO Generator) Question!!!

Hello, I am putting an HHO generator, which is metal plates in water in pvc pipe, into my small pickup truck. I am having a bit of trouble finding an EFIE unit though, which is the boy that goes in line in front of the 02 sensor, to give it a bit more juice and stop it from dumping more gas in when it thinks there is not enough air (but way too much HHO) in the system. Are there any automotive forums that you all would direct me to? And if not, are there any manufacturers of finished EFIE units, or even kits to build them, on the internet or elsewhere for me to utilize?I want to get this done before I leave for college. Gas prices suck!

Answer:

The HHO generator is a scam. First of all, that little generator is not going to make enough hydrogen, efficiently enough to help your fuel economy. Second, hydrogen does not help your fuel economy. Hydrogen gas burns very differently than gasoline or diesel vapors. If you were going to try to run your internal combustion engine on hydrogen, you would have to modify it so much with such an unsatisfactory result that you'd be better off buying a purpose built hydrogen combustion engine. All the companies that sell the HHO generators only sell plans. There are no kits that I know of avaliable for purchase. In fact, this is one of the biggest clues that HHO is a scam. They only sell plans, that way if it doesn't work for you, they can always claim you made a mistake and that's why it doesn't work. Besides, you'll void your warrenty.
I haven't got a clue as to what a HHO thingy is. Is it an american gadget? I'm assuming you are in the States. You mention the price of gas, and EPA. Quite frankly i don't care if your doohicky works or not. At least you are not paying $10 per gallon. We, on this side of the pond, are currently paying around ?5.30 fpr a gallon of diesel and around ?5.00 for petrol. Does it just work with petrol engines or diesel as well?
first off, there is no such chemical called HHO, if you paid for plans to get HHO, you bought a scam. You might be able to get your money back if you report it to the FTC. These scammers put you on a wild goose chase looking for all kinds of things that will make their scam perform. They hope you will get tired of trying. An EFIE is a system that attemps to bypass a pollution control system. If you bypass it, you could recieve a $25,000 fine a jail time, so go ahead. I'm forwarding your questions about bypassing the device to the EPA, they may contact you in the future.
Be very about a leak as it is very dangerous. H will leak through most hoses. U should also a back fire pot to prevent a back fire from fireing into your tank.
Boy, don't you just feel the love around this place? Ask a simple question and someone wants to report you to the EPA. And no one sells kits? Guess that shows you what they know as several places on the web have them ready to go. Got to love it. :-) I understand what you are trying to do as I have looked in to this myself. From what I understand the biggest issue you will have with modifying the O2 sensor output (and yes technically that is illegal) is that it will only be in the ballpark around a certain rpm. The HHO generator will be putting out a constant amount of gas while your engine will be using a different amount of air and fuel based on the rpm at that moment. So how do you know if you are truly burnin right and not causing an increase in polluntants out the tailpipe? HHO sounds great but I have mixed feelings when trying to do it in a fuel injected car with an O2 sensor. Doing it to a diesel is different as they don't use an O2 sensor. I'm thinking of building a couple of the coil type for the 10 liter Cat diesel in my Ford L9000 semi truck. I think the best way to be sure you have a clean running engine when burning HHO would be a car that ran only of hydrogen in the first place. Note to Robert - I think you are compairing apples to oranges. From what I understand you are paying more for fuel due to taxes that your country adds to the sale price. The taxes they add to the fuel we pay for as a seperate tax. So there is no comparison.
