is a 22mm brass end stop ok to use to cap the 22mm copper pipe.?thanks
Hi all yourself. All copper fittings are measured by inside measurement. All copper tubing is measured by outside measurement so you definitely will use 22mm end stop for 22mm tubing. I see by some of the other comments that not everyone is up on current codes of say the last 10 years. Today we use copper from the gas meter to the appliances within the home such as furnace, hot water tank and fireplaces. I hope this helps and good luck. Richard
First, copper pipe should not be used for natural gas, black iron pipe is used. They use copper tubing for propane, but not natural gas. Richard; Maybe in Canada it's legal to use copper for natural gas, but here in the states and many foreign countries it's still not according to building codes. I have been in the construction industry for over 50 years, commercial and residential, and also a licensed heating and air conditioning contractor, and so far it's against any building code I'm aware of.
Question dont make sense and your not on your cell phone so dont type like your texting. If this is too hard for you there is a check spelling tab. Hope this helps.
From a poor person in the UK, it would be correct to use such a fitting in either copper or brass but it would also be illegal for you do do it should you be in the UK or Ilse of Man.
