I have a small apartment and have frequent guests. I need to get a sofa sleeper. Do you know of anything that is good? I'm looking into getting one from Pottery Barn? Is buying a tempurpedic matress worth it? What are some pros/cons with it?Thank you in advance for your help!
I'm not an expert but call the pull out ones sleepers and the fold back ones sofa beds.
Buying an extra expensive mattress for your guests sounds like a waste of money. You can get a good mattress, even one similar to Tempu-pedic or whatever for less. Buy a generic one, but there are some nice sleeper sofas that you could get and not have to buy a separate mattress. I used to have a sleeper sofa and I loved it. Get one with a nice thick mattress where it doesn't feel lumpy - that way your guests will have a sofa when they want one and a couch when they want one. And you can save space and money. Also try craigs list for this stuff.
First of all I know by experience sleeper sofas are not very comfortable and are a pain to move in and out. As far as hide a bed I am uncertain, but in my opinion I feel that a temperpudic bed is the best bet even if u do pay more. Hope I was helpful. Sorry about my spelling:(
How often do you move? Sofa bed is very heavy. It is not good if you move once a year. Beside that I have nothing to complain. How much do you want to pay? Hide-a-bed is most expensive in this catagory and the most comfortable. If space is limited, I agree with you just buy a tempurpedic matress hide it under your own bed and keep the bed away from dust in a plastic bag when is not in use. I am interested in Air bed. They come with different sizes. It is easy to inflat.
