Hey :) Im from BritainIm going to Cancun with friends soon for 1 week and want to stay longer on my own and see as much of Mexico as I can from ruins to the real Mexico to things like the Copper canyon. I enjoy historical stuff and also want to see the bars, clubs and girls.So how long would it take to see all this at a medium to fast pace?
I have friends who come to Mexico for several weeks every year and visit new places. they have done this for years and still have many places yet to visit. you need to decide how much time and money you have to spend, the pick a few places you want to vist. no way can you do the whole country on one trip. there are so many great places to visit. Since you are going to Cancun, you may then want to go to Merida, then the state of Chiapas and the city of San Cristobal de las Casas. Then, you could come up the coast and visit Veracruz. Copper Canyon is in northern Mexico, so you could visit Mexico city, then head north. are you going to travel by bus in Mexico? The buses and the bus system is excellent. you would need to go through Mexico city to get a bus going north.
