Question:

Hoisting a Mustang 3.8L Engine.?

Where is the best place to attach the chains, bars etc. to do an engine swap? Is any place better than another based on your experiance.

Answer:

Well the best way is to take off the upper intake and use a plate that bolts to the lower with an attachment for you to lift it. If you don't have one of these I have just put a bolt in the rear of one head and the front of the opposite one and run a chain between. Not as simple but I've done it many times and it works too. Just be careful and make sure you use grade 8 bolts and a quality chain.
