I have been wanting to get a Holga twin lens but just learned they come with a glass lens. I know the plastic lens is what caused many of the effects on the older models. With the new generation cameras, does the plastic lens still make a difference over the glass?
Basically the Holga is plastic lens but there were some models with glass lenses. (see link below and read the Models section of that page). Hope that helps. Mark
The plastic lenses are part of the mystical images made by Holga's, They also cannot cover the whole film frame (6x6 cm), so there is some nice vignetting. Glass lenses would take away from the arty effect of the plastic ones. Is this the camera?
