Homework help please?

1) What is a magnet?2) What is a permanent magnet?3) Write a short history of magnet! Min. 100 words4) What is a magnetic field?5) What is a magnetic moment?

Answer:

Aircraft tires are filled with nitrogen which is less succecptable to temperature expansion and contraction. (and also less flamable!)
hi the picture doesn't look real the wheels in the 737 are not like that. no aircraft has wheels like that and they are never exposed the picture is edited.
It is not totally exposed as expose as protruding. It is flushed preserving the contour of the aircraft. On the edges of the wheel are blade seals, not only it forms a sealing it also acts as wheels stopper during retraction. Never seen a tire deflate in flight and with what you say with temp. variance tendency to deflate well perhaps the valve cap cover prevents the valve core (wheel inflating tool) from being thrown out causing deflation in flight.
1) A material or object that produces a magnetic field. 2) An object made from a material that is magnetized and creates its own persistent magnetic field. 3) Ancient people learned about magnetism from lodestones, naturally magnetized pieces of iron ore. They are naturally created magnets, which attract pieces of iron. The word magnet in Greek meant stone from Magnesia, a part of ancient Greece where lodestones were found. Lodestones suspended so they could turn were the first magnetic compasses. The earliest known surviving descriptions of magnets and their properties are from Greece, India, and China around 2500 years ago. The properties of lodestones and their affinity for iron were written of by Pliny the Elder in his encyclopedia Naturalis Historia. By the 12th to 13th centuries AD, magnetic compasses were used in navigation in China, Europe, and elsewhere. 4) A mathematical description of the magnetic influence of electric currents and magnetic materials. 5) A vector that characterizes the magnet's overall magnetic properties.
