What does the spike on the front of the roof on houses mean?
there are so many science fiction movies the depict the future, and some did amazing things. I dont remember if it was the guy who wrote 2001 or Issac Asinov but one of them suggested in a book or movie the use of communication satellites. in 2001: A space Oddessy there is a computer that is so AI, that it can control a entire ship and has self feeling. after 40 years we still cant even build the HAL 9000 I saw something funny yesterday on yahoo about home designs. It shows a robot that vacumes (and i dont mean a robot vacumm) imagine how that looks after all we've seen in robot movies (terminator, I Robot, Matrix)
