Thanks, when I did my research before purchasing I read 60f was fine. I just get nervous though because I sleep with a fan on and I find myself getting cold sometimes. I'm not cold blooded like he is. Btw, I'm only in my room for sleeping purposes so he's in a quiet room pretty much all day.
If you want to crush and not grind, use a hammer and a block of wood. Put a cloth over the pepper corns so they won't go all over the place.
i use a mortar and pestle for grinding spices, made mine on a lathe, but you can buy them
