You need to wash it off first. Then use Rustolium Industrial Spray Paint.
1) Go to your local hardware shop and ask them for spray cans of metal paint. Choose your colour and purchase. One of our brands is Killrust 2) If pricey there, some of our $2 shops also sell spray paint cans. Just read the label to see if it is good for metal. 3) I'd prep the door first by cleaning it with metho or turps to get rid of dirt and grease sothe new paint binds. Note, galvanised metal usually requires special prepping and paint as it is naturally greasy. so unless it s dull grey, heavy industrial screen door, this probably isn't the case.
A metal screen door would be easily painted by some good spray paint. Tape off the areas you don't want covered and go for it...you get a nice even look to it. Good luck!
Brand shouldn't matter as long as it's made for metals. Prep is most important. Make sure door is clean, then scuff the metal with a Scotch-Brite type pad to dull the surface and edges. This will prevent the paint from peeling off in sheets later. Galvanized metal will have to be pickled first. Wipe it with a rag soaked in vinegar, and dry with a clean towel.
