how can i bleed the boiler?

Answer:

www.okorder /
the boiler should have whats called a bleeder valve usually they look like radiator bleeder valves.press the little pin down and that should let the air out.make sure you don't burn yourself.
look to see if there was bleeders install in the baseboard heating tubes and you can bleed the air there, if you have air in your system that tells me you don't have an auto bleeder or the one you have is clogged, look at the plumbing supply to the heating side of the boiler and look for a little round container that is about 1 1/2 dia and 3 tall and it has a small fitting on the top like a tire air stem, replace it with new, but make sure the boiler is shut off and cool down, then release the pressure.
