I have a t-mobile phone and a plan. But i'm only a year into my contract. I don't want to change the plan but i want to change the phone. I was wondering if i can buy the phone i want from t-mobile which is a SIDEKICK LX- carbon. and just insert my SIM CARD into it and use it. Will it work if i just put my SIM card into it? and will i be able to access the network AIM. i don't need anything else. i just want to be able to receive and send calls and log into AIM, keep the same phone number and listen to my music thats it. can someone help me out plz. I also have t-mobile and they have good customer service well if you buy one for t-mobile i think you can buy the full price which about $200 or they could extend your contract and give it to you with a discount. I would rather just buy the phone. Not having a contract makes you monthly bills a little lower for like 20 less. It does have AIM so don't worry and yes you can just insert the Sim card to you new phone with the same number.
