how can I clean the brown gunk off of my iron?
You shouldn;t use wax paperYou should use parchent paper, the wax will be more likely to stick to your cookiesUse foil, or just spray your cookie sheet with pam.
Greased aluminum foilI made cookies using that the other day and they turned out great.
Foil will work just fine - That's all I use.
Is the wax paper is to prevent the cookies from sticking to the pan? If so, you can get the same effect by using Pam Nonstick spray.
Their a product called Goo B Gone.take's off even tar and gumAfter that.use like a Fantastic kitchen type cleaner to remove the residue from the cleaners!
