Question:

How can I connect to a wireless network with weak signal and does a wireless USB network adapter help?

I live on the first floor in a Condominium and just outside my bedroom in the courtyard i.eabout 4 meters from my bedroom outside, my laptop detects and connects to an unsecure WiFi wireless networkIs there any accessory I can use inside my apartment/room that would connect to this network which my laptop's Wifi doesn't detect when I am inside the houseFor instance, is a wireless network adapter stronger than my laptop's WiFi and will it receive signal from a farther distance and broadcast it around my house for access by my laptop?

Answer:

NopeThere sure isn't NosireeThat would be stealing that wouldIf it wasn't stealing, I'm certain somebody would have invented the cantenna by nowOr somebody would have hit upon the fact that 802.11 signals simple microwaves and therefor neatly reflected by aluminum foil, and then maybe made a crude dish using a Styrofoam soup bowl and stuck that behind their usb dongle on it's extension cordGolly gees if it wasn't theft of service SOMEBODY might have figured out that they can get like a 30% boost with common kitchen supplies.
