I need to cut a hole through 2(ish)cm of metal, or some sort of composite material I have at home to feed a few wires through. Is it possible to do it without any electrical equipment?
If you dont mind hammering with a pretty sharp pick for about an hour. Drill with a metal drill bit or a plasma welder would probably save you alot of time. YOu can rent those
Careful there ! ! '2 cm. or so' of metal is likely to be part of a structural element. '2 cm. of metal covered composit' is likely to be a required heat shield for an item of equipment. It's not advisable to cut either without knowing what you're doing.
