I need to get rid of tree that's crucked and keeps growing towards the road. It's dangerous for cars and plant a different one, but I wan't to kill it first. What are the fast ways of doing it?
If the tree is on your property, you can cut it down. If your local government has rules about cutting down trees, you may need a permit first. The winter is a good time to cut down a tree. it does not have to be dead first. In winter, the sap drains out of trees that lose their leaves. Without the sap, the wood is a bit drier and easier to cut. Killing a tree first could have consequences. If the tree is on your land, and you kill it and the dead tree falls onto a car or person, YOU can be sued for damages and even negligence, plus forever knowing you were the one who caused someone harm. If the tree is not on your land and you kill it, the owner or government can sue or fine you for the loss of the tree. If the tree caused any harm due to the fact that you killed it, you can be sued for that harm too.
Gasoline first. Bulldozer later.
i don't understand how it is dangerous for cars. if it was i would have expected a car to have knocked it over. and what is the worry about killing it first? just cut the tree down and plant a new one.
