I have to do a report for my science class, and it involves a 3-D model of the subject that the studendt choseI chose Saturn because I thought it would be easy to do a report on itIt turns out that I already made the base of Saturn using a styrofoam ballBut, now I don't know what to use for the ringsMy mom won't let me use clay, tissue paper, wire, or aluminum, and i just don't know how I could shape cardboard into rings.HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the problem is that you either didnt seam the scarf evenly or the scarf needs to be blocked.
Usually after I get a knitted or crochet project done, I'll wash it by hand while following manufactures directions on the labelLay it flat on a flat surface and shape my project by handI thinks that what they call blocking.
You can use the same material, styrofoam , i did that before , or for cardboard, measure the size of your Saturn ball and then cut the cardboard into circle 1/8 inch, one inch apart from your Planet(Saturn)Use toothpick to attach your planet and ring.
