Question:

How can I make a thicker/denser key lime pie?

I made a key lime pie today, it had a nice flavor but the filling was too airy. While airy can be good, I was going for a denser creamier texture. I used 3 jumbo egg yolks at room temperature beaten for about 5 minutes in an upright mixer. To that I added one 14 ounce can of sweetened condensed milk which mixed for about 4 minutes and then 2/3 of a cup of fresh squeezed lime juice and zest, mixed just enough to totally incorporate (less than 30 seconds). What can I do to make my pie thicker, more egg yolks? cream cheese? Thank you :-)

Answer:

i had a cousin that had lime wire on his computer and last time he use it was when the laptop didn't work any more so i think lime wire is a bad choice to download things but that my opinion only
YES! You should not use lime wire. If it's on your computer for more than 2 weeks, your computer will start shutting down. So thats why if you use it you have to install it then uninstall it like every week, or it will blow up you computer, not literally but it's bad.
To understand what limewire does to your computer you must first know what limewire is. Its a bit-torrent client. It takes bit and pieces of a file from people from across the internet. It runs in the background, and if you don't turn it off or stop seeding (sharing) you computer and internet will run slower. The files are not from the actual program they are from independent people. The program itself does not give you viruses. The files you download do. People can infect their files, which then are seeding (shared) through the client (limewire). Since you are downloading the file you are taking from some one else who has possibly infected the file with a virus. In short, the program does NOT give you viruses. The files you download give you the viruses.
No Lime wire does not give you viruses. it's the downloading of files from other users of lime wire that gives you viruses. lime wire is simply a program. the viruses come from other users
I've had lime wire for over a year on my laptop it never caused any problems for me, as long as your careful about type of files your downloading it should run smoothly for you. Also, you can run a scan on it if you right click the Lime wire icon on any anti virus program you have which should help you out, too. Hope I helped. (:
