I have never put a KEY LIME PIE in the oven. Here is my recipe for you. ENJOY. KEY LIME PIE 1 graham cracker crust 2 cans (14 ounces each) sweetened condensed milk 2 cups lime juice 2 cups cool whip[ Mix milk and lime juice until combined. Chill until set. Top with cool whip, either entire pie or a dollop for each slice.

Key lime pie does not rise when baked. All of the recipes I've seen for key lime pie contain eggs yolks, not whole eggs. If the recipe had whole eggs, the filling would rise slightly because eggs whites act as a leavening agent (makes it rise).
