I make a lot of things out of resin, but the idea for my next project is I want to make a coffee table with sand and shells andbeachy stuff. My question is, how do I pour the resin over the sand? Will the sand bubble up and float (I know sand doesn't float per se)or is there another way I have to do this? I want to the whole table to be sand, so any help will be great!
The catalyst is like an activator with the resins I've used. Once resin is dry, it is heat resistent to a point and once the temperature rises above that it will melt. For example, I have cast resin statuary in the garden which experiences temperatures over 100 degrees where I live and it doesn't melt. But, resin definitely melted when the wild fires roared through here last year because it was subjected to direct heat and flame.
its not a donation, its a fee, my dad is the groundsman of a football club and when it was really hot and the grass on the pitch started to burn, they got the fire dept to water the pitch but it cost them a pretty penny, I'm not sure how much though!
