My sofa cushions and springs are in pretty bad shape. What can I do to give it a little more support for the next couple of months without spending a lot of money? I am in the process of purchasing a new home and will be buying new furniture and don't want to buy any now. Is there anything that I can get from a hardware store that would help?
Get a strong piece of plywood and cover it with foam batting and stick it underneath the couch cushions. It should give enough support until you can replace it. Congrats on the new home.
IF THE CUSHIONS ARE FLAT AND THE SPRINGS ARE COMING THRU SO THAT YOU CAN FEEL THEM , YOU MAY WANT TO CONSIDER AN EGG CRAFT FOAM MATTRESS TO PUT OVER SOFA OR COUCH AND COVER IT W/ A SLIP COVER
Good luck! These products are available in several places. Just google couch seat savers and you should find some.
