Question:

How can I tell if it is a carbon monoxide or smoke detector?

It has not markings what so ever. Is there anyway tell if it is a carbon monoxide detector, smoke detector, or both? Thanks in advance!MiiMii

Answer:

If it's a paste or liquid, it's probably water-based and resins are not water-based so they'll do best with oil-based colorants like the ones you can buy for resin, or use artists' oil paints (in tubes). If you use very little water-based colorant, you could get away with it perhaps or it could make the resin cloudy or worse. You can also use solid (totally dry) pigments like scrapings from oil pastels, or use ones like mica powders, ground spices, powdered cake colorants, or artists powdered pigments, etc. HTH
You can buy a 'pre-loved' fursuit from certain specialised sites. Perhaps your parents could get you one if you show them:
